Energy of the Mountains No. 8

This painting is from my series "Energy of the Mountains." All of my pieces from this series are painted on birch wood panel, and I select specific panels for their unique wood grain, which I use as what I call "nature's colour by numbers" for the background line work. The natural wood grain also inspires my colour and mountain choices. This piece measures about 20 x 20 inches if I remember correctly! It also has deep sides that measure about 1.5-2 inches, and are left as birch wood.
